Following that, she turned wrestler. Ariana is the name given to her by Ariana Lynn. She made her debut in the ring under this name on 9 July 2011. For her debut Ariana wrestled against the wrestling champions Audrey Marie Caylee Turner Kaitlyn Aksana to win winning the Divas title. The first and the last to be eliminated from the contest. On FCW TV she fought with Naomi Knight, against Leah West & Byron Sexton. Arian was able to make her WrestleMania debut with Naomi in the XXVIII edition of WrestleMania on the first day of 2012. At the end of 2012 she appeared on a show of TLC. In February 2013 she took part at her first SmackDown match. Since then, she's been appearing at the SmackDown Main event along with various other WWE occasions. The group was formed by Total Divas in September 2013, after the tag-team seven-on-7 battle together with True Divas. Mendes was the one who defeated her. In February of 2014 she took home her first big win in the Elimination Chamber Episode where she defeated AJ Lee to become Divas Champion. That same week, she fought a re-match with Lee and was unable to save her title. Ariana then competed against Lee, who also took home victory at Vickie Guerrero Divas Championship Invitational. In July of 2014, she was accompanied by Naomi Natalya Eva Marie Rosa Mendes and Summer Rae against Nikki Bella during a match of six-on-one handicap but only showed up for the purpose of slapping Naomi as well as Nikki. The Battleground preview gave her a fight with Naomi. In that match Ariana defeated Naomi. At the end of the day, it caused their rivalry. Through the summer, they competed in handicapped singles matches, as well as tag teams. Ariana was in match-ups with wrestlers from other teams, including Paige Bella twins Alicia Fox, and Asuka.
