Mena Alexa Suvari was born on the 29th of September, 1979. She is an American model, fashion designer and actor. After a brief period as a fashion model and then a transition to acting, appearing as guest actors on television shows such as Boy Meets World in the 1990s and High Incident. Her debut on film was the show Nowhere that was which was released in 1997. The actress made her way to important roles thanks to her performance in American Beauty for which she received nominations for a BAFTA Award and American Pie each of which garnered the attention of the world. She has appeared with the co-star of American Pie Jason Biggs in Loser (2000) before starring as the role of lead for the film Sugar & Spice (2001). She also appeared in Spun the drama that was made by an independent studio and 2004's thriller Trauma. Also, she starred in HBO the drama Six Feet Under. The show was an instant hit in 2004, and in 2005, the Screen Actors Guild nominated her as one of the outstanding cast members. In 2008, she was featured in a variety of films, like Day of the Dead The Mysteries of Pittsburgh and as the film adaption of The Garden of Eden. Suvari was featured in numerous fashion blogs and magazines and blogs, such as Vogue. She is an official Lancome model and appears on print advertisements of Lancome Paris Adaptive. She has long been an activist and supporter for the African Medical and Research Foundation. She's also involved in charities which fight breast cancer as well as End Violence Against Women. She was a star in them all, being an actress of the caliber she is. Missy's heart is big. She prefers spending her spare time engaging in philanthropic endeavors.
