Donald Joseph Qualls better known by his DJ Qualls stage title DJ Qualls was born in the US. He is a producer, actor and model. The actor gained fame following his performance in Road Trip. Since then, he has appeared in more than 20 films such including The New Guy Hustle & Flow or The Core. Alongside his role on Road Trip he has played in 22 different TV series such as Breaking Bad Supernatural Srubs Lost Law & Order as well as other. Qualls is fighting Hodgkin's lymphoma from the time he was 14 years old. Following two years of treatment the cancer was cured. Being treated at such a young age had an adverse effect on the body. It hampered his development. As he got older, financially secure, it was his goal because he had seen poverty throughout his early years. He said in an interview that he stated that if I don't have financial stability or I find myself feeling out of control in the world, then I'm going to be unhappy. In an interview, he also reflects on his own growing up. His goal is to end bullies. He says "Cruelty is a snare to my soul." His ideal role in film as well as in real life is that of father. The director doesn't choose him to fill these roles, but he says. He'd like to be father one day so he can devote more time with his child and not be so occupied with his work.
